Watermelon Preserves Recipe – Homemade Watermelon Jelly Recipe

Homemade watermelon jelly recipe ingredients:

  • 4 kilograms watermelon, cleaned
  • 600 grams sugar
  • 10 grams vanilla sugar

Watermelon preserves recipe instruction:

Clean watermelon from watermelon rind and seeds, chop it in small pieces and strain it through a fine sieve.

Pour sugar in watermelon and cook it to evaporate half of its volume. Add vanilla sugar in the boiling fruit mixture and cook it for 5 minutes more.

Pour hot fruit jelly in clean warm jelly jars, seal them and place jars in dry and dark place.

This is the homemade jelly recipe without any food additives.

If you like it better with fruit pectin, let sugar and watermelon boil for 40 minutes, add 1 pouch of liquid fruit pectin in it, stir the jelly, remove it from the heat and pour the jelly in the jars.

Orange Pumpkin Marmalade Recipe

Orange pumpkin marmalade recipe ingredients:

  • 1 1/5 kilogram pumpkin
  • 400 grams sugar
  • 6 tablespoon dark honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 6 oranges
  • pinch salt

Homemade pumpkin orange marmalade recipe instruction:
Clean pumpkin, cut it in a cube shape pieces and cook it in a little water with pinch of salt to soften.

Strain cooked pumpkin and mash it with a blender. Pour it in a saucepan.

Pour sugar, honey and cinnamon in the mashed pumpkin and let it stand like that for 24 hours.

Next day add peeled and chopped oranges in the saucepan with pumpkin mixture and cook it to attain desired density.

Pour hot orange marmalade in warm sterilized jars and seal them. Cover jars to cool gradually till next day.

Homemade Fruit Liqueur – Orange Liqueur Recipe

Orange liqueur recipe ingredients:

  • 250 grams orange peel, dried
  • 4-5 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 liter grape brandy

Sugar syrup ingredients:

  • 750 grams sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup water

Homemade fruit liqueur recipe instruction:

Pour grape brandy over dried orange peel. Add cloves and cinnamon in it and let it stand in a warm place for 10-15 days.

Pour sugar in the water and melt it in low temperature. Cool it.

Strain orange liquid and add sugar syrup in it.

Let it stand for 10 days more before you serve it.
