Ginger Preserves – Apple Ginger Jam Recipe

Apple ginger jam recipe ingredients:

  • 300 grams fresh ginger roots
  • 1 kilogram apples
  • 1/2 liter water
  • 1 kilogram sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder

Ginger preserves recipe instruction:

Clean fresh ginger roots and apples and process them in the food processor.

Place processed ginger and apples in saucepan, pour water over them and cook them in medium heat to boil for about 1 hour or till ginger soften.

Pour sugar in saucepan and cook it for half hour more, stirring it often.

In the end, stir ginger powder in ginger apple jam and remove it from the heat.

Pour warm jam in clean jars, seal them and process for 10 minutes in boiling water bath.

Lemon Jam Recipe – Ginger Jam Recipe

Lemon jam recipe ingredients:

  • 600 grams lemon
  • 1,5 liters water
  • 1,5 kilograms sugar
  • 2 teaspoons shredded ginger

Wash the lemons and cut them together with the skin into small pieces (remove the lemon pits).

Pour water over lemon pieces and leave them like this over night.

Next day, cook them to boil in low heat for about 1 hour.

Pour sugar into lemons and stir it all the way, so sugar melts. Let it boil for 15 minutes more to thicken and then stir ginger in it.

Pour hot fruit jam in clean and warm jam jars and seal them.

  • 450 grams sour cherries
  • 450 grams sugar
  • 200 grams sweet cherries

Orange pumpkin marmalade recipe ingredients:

  • 1 1/5 kilogram pumpkin
  • 400 grams sugar
  • 6 tablespoon dark honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 6 oranges
  • pinch salt

Homemade pumpkin orange marmalade recipe instruction:
Clean pumpkin, cut it in a cube shape pieces and cook it in a little water with pinch of salt to soften.

Strain cooked pumpkin and mash it with a blender. Pour it in a saucepan.

Pour sugar, honey and cinnamon in the mashed pumpkin and let it stand like that for 24 hours.

Next day add peeled and chopped oranges in the saucepan with pumpkin mixture and cook it to attain desired density.

Pineapple Marmalade Recipe With Citrus Fruits

Pineapple marmalade recipe ingredients:

  • 2 grapefruits, middle size
  • 2 limes (or lemon)
  • 2 oranges, middle size
  • 1 liter water
  • 1 pineapple (about 800 grams)
  • 1, 3 kilograms sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Pineapple citrus marmalade recipe instruction:

Peel grapefruits, limes and oranges, remove white spongy part from it and chop that peel in fine pieces.

Remove white spongy part from fruits also and chop fruit pulp in small pieces.

Combine chopped fruits with peel in saucepan, pour water over it and let it stand like that over night.

Next day peel pineapple, chop it in small pieces and mix it in saucepan with citrus fruits. Cook it in low temperature to boil for about 45 minutes, till peel become soft.

Measure the liquid that you get and pour the same quantity of sugar (on 1 liter of liquid, add 1 kilogram of sugar).

Return saucepan on the heat to boil, add fresh lemon juice in it and cook it for 35 minutes more (stir it occasionally) or till marmalade thicken as you wanted.

Remove it from the heat and let it stand for 5 minutes before you pour it in a warm sterilized jars. Seal the jars and store them in dark and cold place.

Easy Citrus Jam – Mixed Orange and Grapefruit Jam Recipe

Easy citrus jam recipe ingredients:

  • 2 red grapefruits
  • 3 red oranges
  • 650 ml grapefruit juice
  • 1 kilogram sugar

Mixed orange and grapefruit jam recipe instruction:

Peel the grapefruits and oranges, squeeze juice from them gently and chop them in small pieces.

Cook grapefruit juice (with previously squeezed juice) and sugar to boil, stir it all the way and add pieces of fruits in it. Cook it for about 25 minutes.

Pour grapefruit orange jam in prepared warm jars and seal them.

Sugar Free Diabetic Jam Recipe – Mixed Plum Quince Apricot Jam Recipe

Mixed plum quince apricot jam recipe ingredients:

  • 1 kilogram quinces
  • 2 kilograms plums
  • 2 kilograms apricots
  • 500 grams fructose

Sugar free diabetic jam recipe instruction:

Peel off the quinces, chop them up in jam pot and cook them in low temperature.

Wash the plums, remove plum pits from them, mash them and add them to quinces to cook together.

In the end, wash and chop up apricots and add them into quince plum mixture to cook.

Sweeten the mixed fruit jam with fructose stirring it all the way till mixture become compact and thick (it should lose about 30% of earlier weight).

Pour hot jam in sterilized and warm jam jars and seal them. You’ll get about 4 kilograms plum apricot quince jam.

Mixed Fruit Sugar Free Jam Recipe – Carrot and Plum Jam Recipe

Carrot and plum jam recipe ingredients:

  • 5 kilograms plums
  • 1 kilogram carrots
  • 2 lemons

Mixed fruit sugar free jam recipe instruction:

Wash and clean plums, carrots and lemons. Mix the fruits with food processor and pour the mixture in large saucepan.

Cook the fruit jam in low heat to become thick as you desire and stir it often. It will become thicker in the jars later, so you don’t need to cook it to much (cool few drops of jam in the plate to test density).

Pour hot mixed jam in warm sterilized jam jars and seal them.

If you want to store the jam for a longer period of time, it will be better to preserve jam the following way:

Pour your plum carrot jam in warm sterilized jam jars and put them (without lids) in the oven to warm up on 100°C for about 10 minutes. This will preserve jam better.

Cover the jars over night to cool gradually.

Mixed Fruit Jam Recipe – Red Currant and Strawberry Jam Recipe

Red currant and strawberry jam recipe ingredients:

  • 2 kilograms strawberries
  • 500 grams red currants
  • 1 1/2 kg sugar

Homemade mixed fruit jam recipe instruction:

Mix washed and cleaned strawberries with red currants, and pour sugar over them in deep saucepan. Let it in refrigerator over night.

Next morning put your saucepan on the heat to boil. Cook the fruits for about 40 minutes (stir it often).

To be sure that your mixed fruit jam is done, take some jam with the spoon and let few drops to fall in the plate. When drops are cooled, they must be thick (not in a liquid state).

Pour your fruit jam in warm sterilized jam jars and put them (without lids) in the oven to warm up on 100°C for about 10 minutes.

Seal the jars and wrap blanket around them over night (until they become cold).

Store them in the cool and dark place.
