Easy strawberry rhubarb jam recipe ingredients:
- 2.2 lb (1 kg) rhubarb
- 10 oz. (300 g) strawberries
- 1 big apple
- 2.2 (1 kg) sugar
- 1 big lemon (juice)
Wash, peel and chop rhubarb in 1 inch pieces, so you get about 1.5 lb (700 g) cleaned rhubarb. Wash and chop strawberries and apple (don’t peel it) as well. Apple peel is full of natural pectin, so it helps jam to thicken.
Place all fruits in the pot, pour lemon juice and sugar over fruits and cook to get desired thickness. Crash with hand blender.
Pour hot jam in clean and warm jars, seal them and turn them up side down for 5 minutes, to vacuum themselves. Store in cool place.
