Homemade Fruit Compote – Peach Compote Recipe

Peach compote recipe ingredients:

  • 1 kilogram peaches
  • 2 cups water
  • 400-500 grams sugar

Homemade fruit compote recipe:

Pour sugar in water to boil. Cool it.

Wash peaches, peel them off and remove peach pits from them. Cut peaches in a half and arrange them in the jars.

Pour cold sugar syrup over fruits in the jars and seal them.

Pour cold water in the deep pot and put jars in it (to sink in, but water must be under the lids). Cook it to boil and then remove the pot from the heat.

Take jars out from the pot, let them cool and store your peach compote in the cool and dark place.
