Homemade carrot apple jam recipe ingredients:
- 4.4 lb (2 kg) carrots
- 2.2 lb (1 kg) apples
- 4 lb (1.8 kg) sugar
- 0.9 cup (200 ml) water
- 4 lemons
- 1 teaspoon rum
Wash and clean the carrots and apples. Chop them in the chopper.
Pour sugar, water and lemon juice in the saucepan and cook it to become thick syrup.
Stir chopped carrots and apples in the sugar syrup and continue to cook it all together for 1 hour. If you like it, mix rum in the end in hot fruit jam.
Pour hot apple carrot jam in warm clean jam jars and seal them.
