Easy plum jam recipe ingredients:
- 2.2 lb (1 kg) plums
- 1.32 lb (600 ) sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Juice from 1 squeezed lemon
Put plums in boiling water for 2 minutes, take them out and then pour cold water over them, so you can peel them easier.
Peeled plums divide into halves, take plum pit out and put them in the enamel pot. Pour lemon juice and then sugar over plums and let them in a cold place over night.
Next day, cook your prepared plums about 25 minutes in moderate temperature.
When your fruit jam is cooked, stir vanilla in it. Pour hot jam into warm jam jars and close them good.
Closed jam jars put at wood base, cover them up (you can use blanket) and let them cool. Your homemade jam recipe is ready for use!
