Orange persimmon jam recipe ingredients:
- 2.2 lb (1 kg) persimmon, very ripe
- 2 big apples
- 1 lb (450 g) sugar
- 1 big orange (zest and juice)
- 1 tablespoon rum
Wash, peel and clean persimmon and apples. Crash them in food chopper.
Melt sugar in orange juice (in low heath) for few minutes and when it starts to get light gold color, add persimmon and apples in it. Add orange zest and rum in it as well and stir.
Cook fruits for about 30 minutes (stir occasionally) and when thicken as you like, jam is finished.
Pour hot jam in clean and warm jars and seal them.
